Odds on Ravens holding Giants to 100 rushing yards
At least one source thinks that the Ravens will have trouble holding the Giants to under 100 rushing yards.
The Bodog Web site has the "over 100 yards" money line at -140. That means a bettor would have to risk 140 clamshells to win just 100 that the Giants gain at least 101 yards on the ground.
To pick under 100 yards, the bettor gets the more advantageous plus-110, meaning that a 100 clamshell wager wins 110 if the Ravens hold the Giants to 99 or fewer yards.
This is how the proposition is worded:
How many rushing yards will the New York Giants get vs. the Baltimore Ravens?
Over 100 -140
Under 100 +110
For the game itself, the point spread at various Las Vegas casinos make New York a 6 1/2- to 7-point favorite.

I hope they're talking about 100 rushing yards and not a 100 yard rusher, or getting the 2 confused as the poll seemed to do. The title of the poll says will they get 100 yards, then when you open it up it says 100 yard rusher, TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS...

Mike,
You are right. I believe the proposition is 100 rushing yards total.

first, its a 100 rusher so its not all three running backs combining for 100 yards. this is why they won't get 100 yards they spread out the carries of the three running backs equally.

Who cares as long as we win.

l would rather the Ravens score more points!! lf Manning starts out on-huddle throwing on first down, we might be in trouble! They know we have a suspect secondary.

1n 1958 the Baltimore Colts lost a close regular season game to the Giants, and then the Baltimore Colts went on to defeat them in the Title game (the Greatest Game Ever Played).
Through my Kool-aid colored glasses, I am seeing a like conclusion to this season.
But the real pay back this year may be Kerry Collins winning a Super Bowl eight years after being one of the most ineffective quarterbacks in a Super Bowl loss.
He just may "dilfer" it this year!

Considering the Giant's defense is averaging 85.4 yards allowed. Means they have had more than one opponent to under 100 yards. So its not a safe bet that the Ravens can get 100+ yards on the ground.
