Ravens break on top, 3-0

So far, this is ugly for the Titans but the Ravens will take the help. A personal foul that was more chippy than egregious against Tennessee safety Chris Hope kept the Ravens' first drive alive when Baltimore should have been forced to punt. Meanwhile, encroachment and defensive holding penalties seem to keep the chains moving more efficiently than the Ravens' offense.

At the Titans' 20-yard line on third-and-5, Ravens' QB Joe Flacco missed WR Demetrius Williams on the left side but Matt Stover got the 38-yard field goal.
