Music video: Never Say Goodbye Brett Favre
You say yes, I say no
You say stop and I say go, go, go
Oh, no
You say goodbye and I say hello
Hello, hello
I don't know why you say goodbye
I say hello
Paul McCartney wrote the lyrics but no one sings them better than Brett Favre.
Quite obviously, this is a no win situation for both sides. To a large number of fans -- mainly the Packers' own followers -- the team will be the villain if Favre isn't behind center in green-and-gold this fall. To a large number of fans, Favre jeopardizes his status atop the NFL's Olympus as a single-team hero (the abbreviated start in Atlanta doesn't count) if he dons the colors of another franchise.
However it turns out, singer-songwriter Ryan Parker has chimed in with a musical take on the topic.
You'll need to slide the volume adjustment to the right (just to the right of the loudspeaker icon in the lower right corner).

Comments
I saw this comment in a story - "By the way, baseball’s labor contract makes no provision for home-field advantage if there isn’t an All-Star winner."
So according to the story, Bud sent someone down to remind the managers the game would not end in a tie.
Of course with a 32 man roster, it is inexcusable to run out of pitchers. At least 4 AL pitchers only threw 15 pitches or less and were taken out.
I also think anyone who starts on Sunday should be replaced by another pitcher. There isn't any reason to have someone on the active roster who can't pitch a couple of innings w/o injury concerns.

Rich,
I think in the final analysis, we all have to resign ourselves to an understanding that baseball ... because of its almost mystical quality of being a game without a clock ... has the potential to create such dilemmas as running out players in their normal positions. In this case, we happen to be talking about pitchers. It doesn't happen often but occasionally, there are 20-plus inning games. If it happens in the case of something like the All-Star Game, we just have to accept it, unless we want to go to some tricked-up resolution like after the 15th inning or so, the offensive team starts with runners on first-and-second or somthing like that. But if we want to play it straight, we're just going to have to face the reality that these things can happen.
