Next up: Mindy McCready sings 'Rocket Man'
I'm sure you're shocked, absolutely shocked, that a report in the New York Daily News says Roger Clemens carried on a 10-year affair with country singer Mindy McCready beginning when she was 15.
That might help explain all the difficulties McCready has had in her life, which sound like, well, a country song. Bad breakups (including a brief engagement to Superman, Dean Cain), a drug overdose, child out of wedlock, an alleged assault on her mother, etc.
After being initially shocked to hear of the allegations, we're sure that you'll be just as stunned to learn that McCready has a new CD coming out, a reality show and a documentary movie. HMMMMM, wonder where the Daily News got their information from?

The timing is pretty convenient. The rocket laywers are in denial mode. Imagine that.

"Clemens' lawyer, Rusty Hardin, confirmed a long-term relationship but told the newspaper it was not sexual.
"He flatly denies having had any kind of an inappropriate relationship with her," Hardin said. "He's considered her a close family friend. ... He has never had a sexual relationship with her."

Wow. Debbie Clemens must be thrilled. First, her breast enhancements made national news re her comparing hers to Canseco's wife at the Canseco party. Next, it becomes public knowledge that McNamee had a one-on-one relationship with her butt, including injecting her with HGH. Now, her husband is accused of child molestation and a 10-year affair that started when the girl was 15. She must be real proud to be Mrs. Roger Clemens.
