Video moment: Plight of Maryland and all bubble teams

Maryland's NCAA tournament predicament is shared by all those teams who fall into that broad and unenviable category of bubble teams.

On Selection Sunday, their hopes could just go -- Pop. Here, singer-sports songwriter Ryan Parker expresses the anxiety of all teams whose invitation to the Big Dance may never arrive, including Gary Williams' Terrapins. He sums it up with the plaintive cry, "Not the NIT!"
