Video moment: Brett Favre's arrival
Brett Favre's first substantial playing experience came in 1992 -- as most fans know by now -- when he replaced the injured Don Majkowski in a game against Cincinnati at Lambeau Field.
What is fitting about Favre's performance is that it was a microcosm of the legendary career that was still in front of him. It was an adventure every time Favre took a snap that afternoon. He fumbled four times and lost two of them. He was nailed for five sacks and scrambled six times. Favre completed 22 of his 39 passes that day, including two touchdown passes.
The final scoreboard read: Green Bay 24, Cincinnati 23.
Favre led the comeback. And at the end of it all, there was a big humorous punctuation mark on the deciding extra point. Enjoy.

I had forgotten until this morning, Mike & Mike. They played the original NFL draft for Brett, and the guy pronounced his name, Favor. Amazing how many first round busts there was that year!
