Last minute help filling out that NCAA bracket

So that tournament bracket is due any minute now and you're still sweating Washington State-Winthrop. Guess you didn't see too many of those Winthrop games this season, did you?

Okay, we have some 11th-hour help. Remember that game show Family Feud where the correct answers were really a consensus of what audience members had to say about a topic?

Richard Dawson: What items are you most likely to bring with you to the beach? Survey says -- SUNSCREEN!

Same kind of thing was working on Who Wants to be a Millionaire? when the contestant could ask to see which answer the audience picked.

So what we have here is some assistance of the "Survey says" variety. The folks at ESPN have  been inviting people to fill out their brackets online in something called the Men's Tournament Challenge and ESPN has broken down the fans' selections by percentages. And they've done it for each round. For instance, 95.31 percent have North Carolina winning the first round and 91.38 percent have the Tar Heels winning in the second round, and so on. Now, I've noticed that for a given game in the first round, not every twosome adds to 100 percent but we're not going to be picky about the help.

So, for No. 4 seed Washington State vs. No. 13 seed Winthrop in the first round, what percentage picks Winthrop to win?

SURVEY SAYS -- look it up.
