Patriots had their own beef with the refs

This Patriots game is probably going to take a while to purge and so we return to the issue of officiating.

If you caught Tom Brady's interview after the game on TV, the usually charming Patriot quarterback was a bit testy. And he implied that the calls at the end of the game that went in New England's favor were overdue. Reading between Brady's carefully crafted quotes, he was clearly saying that the refs were finally whistling the calls they had been missing earlier in the game. And we all saw Brady vigorously lobbying for a holding call on the pass that Ed Reed intercepted and then fumbled at the end of the first half.

Now comes word from the Boston Herald's Mike Felger that Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel "screamed profanities" at the officials as they left the M&T Bank field last night.

keep hatin people...keep hatin

Please cut your pity party short - you have a game this Sunday against the indianapolis colts who beat you last year on their way to the Superbowl.

The Pats game - get over it. There will be another.

Belichik will use this to fire up his roster for this weeks game. After 2 lacklustre games against opponents they were expected to beat comfortably they will win this game. Whether they will cover the 12 point spread is another matter.

I liked this game better when it opened at 14 1/2. It's down to 10 1/2, 11 now.
