No arrest in Taylor case so far
There are still no arrests in the killing of Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor. Taylor's father visited the Redskins yesterday and what the players took away from that meeting was to try to win out and make the playoffs in their teammate's memory.
In this ESPN account, there is a video attached that includes an interview with Richard Sharpstein titled "Family friend gives details of Sean Taylor shooting" that provides some specifics about the event itself. Police have expressed the belief that that shooting was random, Sharpstein reinforced that belief, contending that a targeted assassination would have resulted in a different type of shooting.
Arizona Cardinals cornerback Antrel Rolle has a contrary opinion. Rolle is a lifelong friend of Taylor. They had played together as 6-year-olds in Homestead and at the University of Miami. Rolle believes that someone connected with Taylor's past, a past from which Taylor had distanced himself, is likely responsible.

they should have a big reward for whoever finds them

I believe that this tragic event was caused by an or some "old friend/s" that was jealous of Sean and his accomplishments. I agree with Antrel.

I agree with Rolle as well. Whoever did this, felt comfortable with doing it. An outsider would have thought he had a gun, been worried about that, his home would not have been a likely target. Whoever did this knew him and had been in that house before!!

I don't believe that this was random. I believe that someone linked to his past or linked to his girlfriend's past did this. She wasn't touched, Sean's child wasn't touched, doesn't that seem weird...I bet there is more there than meets the eye, but of course we aren't being told everything that has been discovered about this. He was shot in the leg, I bet the assailant only wanted to injure him, not kill him. He just happened to hit a major artery. I bet that person is carry a heavy load of guilt right now. It's such a shame for such a young and talented man to be gunned down like he was and especially when he was finally getting his life in order. I bet there was some jealous individuals out there that dispised him for that....RIP Taylor, you will be sadly missed! From a grateful football fan!

Ok, 8 days earlier the house is ransacked without anything being taken.
Now, if you're someone close to Taylor who wants to do him in, what better way to avert suspicion away from yourself.

I spoke to somebody last night that knows some of Sean's friends. They agree with Rolle. It was some of his hood that he used to hang with. He grew up and changed from that lifestyle and that they were not happy the free ride was over and wanted to send him a mesage. The break-in 8 days previously and leaving a knife behind was a message. He also claims that Sean was told to move out of Florida up into Maryland and that he didnt want to be a coward and (do) that ....
