Red Sox Nation gives Baltimore its props
With Boston in town, attendance at Camden Yards for the four-game series was nearly 150,000. Naturally, the majority were Red Sox fans. It'll certainly be a lot quieter -- and emptier -- when the Angels and Blue Jays are in town, but there'll be another attendance spike when the Yankees arrive for the final series of the season, especially if New York is in a battle for a playoff spot.
But despite what feels like an enemy invasion at times, some out-of-town fans are appreciative of the warm experience that baseball here in Baltimore can be. Dan Lamothe, of the Red Sox Monster blog, captured on video the Camden Yards troubadour at Saturday's game -- the only one in the four-game set that Baltimore managed to win. Thanks to Dan for graciously sending it along. And take a look at who Red Sox Nation calls "Baltimore's coolest cat."
