The last word (for now) on 30-3

There are a number of ways to look at last night's historic 30-3 Orioles' loss to the Texas Rangers. But the healthiest may be to appreciate it for the quirky and once-in-a-lifetime event it turned out to be. Consider this: What happened during that game was more rare than a no-hitter. And among the fans who were there was TV personality and Marylander Pat Sajak, who actually had this to say about the game, "Thank you." Here's Sajak's take on baseball, in general, and last night, in particular.

How can Sajack or anyone who calls themselves a baseball fan call last night's fiasco 'magical'? It was a waste of a night and although I am a die-hard O's fan, I would have been disappointed even if the score was reversed.
One team beating up on another isn't what sports are about. I suppose Sajack feels the US basketball team beating some 3rd world country by 50 points or a college football power running up the score to get more 'poll' points is just as 'magical'!
I know he was with his son but hopefully, he used the game to make a point about sportmanship(something the bottom-feeder Rangers conveniently 'forgot' by taking close pitches and extra bases).
Ironically, one of newly-installed manager Trembley's mantra's is'respect the game'...didn't really see that last night. He himself has to take some of the blame by continuing to use ineffective pitchers like Shuey..
Magical!!!!! There are other more appropriate words for last night's debacle..

I am a Yankee fan from NY.
I do not know what is exciting of Baltimore beating the yankees or baltimore getting a beat down from Texas. auhhhhhhhhh

Thats right, the number is 110 + 30 =
a beat down loss

One good thing baltimore did was to make history for their franchise.
