With the regular season complete, the 4-team IFL playoffs are now set. In the semifinals (which take place August 2 at the Meadowlands in New Jersey), the Tokyo Sabres square off against the New York Pitbulls in a matchup of unbeaten teams, while the 3-0 L.A. Anacondas square off against the 2-1 Quad Cities Silverbacks. The Silverbacks sneak into the playoffs by virtue of having a better individual record than the Southern California Condors and Nevada Lions, which were also both 2-1 in team competition.
