Waring among players promoted to the Baysox
Four players are headed from the Single-A Frederick Keys to the Double-A Bowie Baysox, including infielder Brandon Waring, who currently ranks among the Carolina League leaders in several offensive categories.
Joining Waring on the move to Bowie for the final week of the season are center fielder Matt Angle, shortstop Pedro Florimon Jr., and right-handed pitcher Brian Parker.
Right-hander Zach Clark heads from the Keys to the Triple-A Norfolk Tides.
Waring currently leads the Carolina League in RBIs (90), total bases (246) and doubles (35), and the 23-year-old infielder is second in the league with 26 home runs.
Angle leads the league with 138 hits, and he ranks fifth in the league with a .289 batting average. The 23-year-old outfielder is fourth in the league with 40 stolen bases.
Florimon is batting .267 with nine home runs and 68 RBIs this season. He is third in the league with 32 doubles. The 22-year-old infielder is second on the team with 76 runs scored.
Also, left-handed pitcher Stephen Procner was promoted from the short-season Single-A Aberdeen IronBirds to the Single-A Delmarva Shorebirds.
In addition to these promotions, there were several other moves in the organization today.
I'm checking with the different affiliates to see if there have been any other moves, and I'll pass along any information that I receive.
UPDATED (3:13 p.m.): The Baysox informed me that utility player Miguel Abreu, outfielder Danny Figueroa and infielder Paco Figueroa were all placed on the temporary inactive list. Also, outfielders Dave Krynzel and Ambiorix Concepcion were promoted to the Tides.
Due to inaccurate information provided in a news release, Zach Clark's destination was misstated in a previous version of this post. The Baltimore Sun regrets the error.

Comments
Dean,
What means "temporary inactive list?" Is that normal? Did they do something wrong?
