Today's game previews -- September 3

The Triple-A Norfolk Tides host the Gwinnett Braves at Harbor Park, and the Double-A Bowie Baysox take on the Binghamton Mets at Prince George's Stadium.

The Single-A Frederick Keys face the Kinston Indians at Harry Grove Stadium, and the Single-A Delmarva Shorebirds meet the Lakewood BlueClaws at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.

The short-season Single-A Aberdeen IronBirds play their final game on the road in 2009 against the Staten Island Yankees.

The Baysox asked me to pass along some information about the different promotions in Bowie over the holiday weekend.

On Friday, any youth upper reserved ticket includes a free hot dog and juice drink. Tickets are $9 each.

The Baysox will be holding Football Frenzy Night on Saturday at the ballpark, and fans are encouraged to wear football gear to the game. Several mascots and cheerleaders will be at the stadium, and there will be multiple giveaways.

The team will give a free Baysox fleece blanket to the first 1,000 fans (ages 3 and up) Sunday for Fan Appreciation Day, and there will also be other prizes throughout the game.

On Monday, the Baysox will celebrate Kids Appreciation Day during their afternoon game with free rides and games in the Kids Park, as well as a giveaway to the first 1,000 children in attendance. The first 250 kids who enter the ballpark will also receive a bag of goodies, according to the team.

Hey Dean,

I notice Vito Frabizio is starting for the I-birds tonight. Did anyone else get moved up from Bluefield or the GCL team with him? Also, what are your thoughts on Frabizio. He's come out of nowhere this year and is only 20. I don't know much about him. Is he a legit name to watch going forward into next season? Thanks
