Dean,
have the O's made any progress getting Mychal Givens signed? I know the deadline is still 2+ weeks away, but the O's, according to Baseball America have only signed 5 of top 10 and only 19 of 50 overall. Thanks.

Dean,
Are the O's brass pleased with what they've seen so far with Xavier Avery? I check the Delmarva box scores every day to see what X did the night before and he has struggled recently. How is he defensively?
One last question: Are the O's considering switching Caleb Joeseph to another position? He seems to be our best hitting prosect right now, but at catcher, there is a certain hot prospect beginning to claim that spot for the O's for the next decade.
as always, thanks for answering my questions...

I drove up to Bluefield last evening to watch Hobgood. He got his fastball up to 91 but was all over the place. Probably a case of nerves? I'm glad he plays for us cuz the kid can throw!

Xavier Avery is a stud. He's got a Carl Crawford-type ceiling, and I can't wait to watch him develop. He'll make for a good replacement for Adam Jones when Jones signs a $300 million contract with the Yankee$.

What injury had Paco Figueroa playing in GCL(Rookie). Do have an idea of when it happened and when he will be back in the Baysox Line-up?
I think you should do an article interviewing the Figueroa Twins.
Thanks,
