Today's game previews -- July 6

The Triple-A Norfolk Tides play the Gwinnett Braves on the road, while the Double-A Bowie Baysox wrap up their three-game road trip with a game against the Altoona Curve.

The Single-A Delmarva Shorebirds face the Kannapolis Intimidators, and the short-season Single-A Aberdeen IronBirds conclude their series against the Oneonta Tigers.

The Single-A Frederick Keys are idle.

Norfolk Tides (AAA)

* After three straight victories over Gwinnett, the Tides (46-35) trail the first-place Durham Bulls (48-35) by one game in the International League South Division. The Braves (44-40) are in third place, and they are 4 1/2 games behind Durham in the division.

* The IronBirds (5-11), who have lost nine out of their past 11 games, are in last place in the New York-Penn League McNamara Division. Aberdeen trails the first-place Brooklyn Cyclones (14-2) by nine games. Oneonta (9-5) is in first place in the Stedler Division, and the Tigers hold a two-game lead over the Lowell Spinners (8-8) and Vermont Lake Monsters (8-8).
