« Today's game previews -- July 31 | Main | Today's game recaps -- August 1 »

Pardon the interruption this week

I just left The Baltimore Sun building, and I won't be returning again until Monday, Aug. 10.

Yes, that's right. I'm heading for a week of vacation.

A few days in Ocean City are planned, including my birthday on Wednesday.

So, what does that mean for the O's on Deck readers?

Other than sending me gifts -- just kidding! -- I know that I won't be able to provide game recaps tonight because the Internet still isn't working at my new house yet, and I'm not making another trip into the office until I am obligated to be there.

From now until I return from vacation, I won't be posting the game previews during the afternoon. I don't think my girlfriend would appreciate the laptop sitting with us on the beach or the boardwalk.

Still, thanks to the Internet provided at the hotel, I'm going to make an effort to provide game recaps each night. As long as technology permits, you can look forward to the recaps. I'm not making any promises because I'm never sure if I'll be able to properly connect to the Internet when I stay at a hotel.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a good weekend, and I'll provide updates as much as I can.

If you get a chance stop in
" Jr's Ribs " NORTH. My only nephew David has been living down OC for 20 + years. Tell him his uncle Glenn says "Hi."
He knows that town.
