Live: Baysox vs. Connecticut -- Bowie wins
Orioles relief pitcher Chris Ray walked one batter, but he didn't allow any runs or hits in one inning during an injury rehabilitation assignment for the Baysox.
Bowie right-hander Jim Hoey entered in the ninth inning and recorded the final three outs to preserve the 6-0 victory over Connecticut at Prince George's Stadium.
Baysox center fielder Danny Figueroa was 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored in the win. His brother, Paco Figueroa added a single and a stolen base.
I'm heading down to the clubhouse to talk to Baysox starting pitcher Brian Matusz, who improved to 7-0 since being promoted to Double-A.
Check out O's on Deck later tonight for full game recaps from all of the affiliates in the Orioles' minor league system.
