Live: Baysox vs. Harrisburg -- Bowie scores again

Baysox starting pitcher Troy Patton was a little wild to start the third inning. The 23-year-old left-hander walked Senators second baseman Ofilio Castro on five pitches, but he quickly retired the next two hitters on fly outs.

After allowing a single to Harrisburg right fielder Edgardo Baez, Patton got left fielder Michael Daniel to hit a ground ball to Baysox shortstop Robert Valido. He stepped on second base to end the inning.

Baysox right fielder Ambiorix Concepcion hit a triple to left field to start the bottom of the third. Daniel took a bad route to the ball, which skipped past him all the way to the wall. Valido followed with an RBI single to left field, putting Bowie up, 2-0, over the Senators.

Center fielder Dave Krynzel followed with a single to left field for the Baysox, and left fielder Jonathan Tucker flied out to right. With Baysox first baseman Brandon Snyder batting, Valido and Krynzel pulled off a double steal. Snyder struck out and third baseman Mike Costanzo grounded out to end the inning.
