Music legends set to rock Norfolk, Aberdeen in summer
If you're looking for a tremendous concert option for this year, it's probably a good idea to head to Harbor Park or Ripken Stadium in July.
The ballparks of the Triple-A Norfolk Tides and short-season Single-A Aberdeen IronBirds, respectively, will play host to Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp.
The three music superstars will play in Aberdeen on Friday, July 24, and they will travel to Norfolk for a concert on the following night.
Tickets for the show are $67.50 each. For every adult ticket purchased, a child 14 years old or under is invited to attend the concert for free. Most events are general admission, which means fans are able to pick their seats when they show up for the evening. Check with the specific team for details on the seating arrangement.
The Tides and IronBirds will begin selling tickets for the shows on Saturday, May 9. Tickets are available at the team's ticket office, as well as affiliated outlets.
Each concert will begin at 5:30 p.m., and gates will open 30 minutes prior to the show.
