Games in Baltimore this weekend

On TV this weekend:

Johns Hopkins vs. Siena, Friday, 6 p.m., ESPNU
Georgetown at Maryland, Saturday, 1 p.m., ESPNU
Towson at Loyola, Saturday, 1 p.m., WMAR

You can also go see Rutgers at UMBC at 1 p.m. Saturday and Virginia women at Loyola at 3:30 p.m., after the men's game. That's a nice doubleheader if you are up for the cold weather and an all-day lacrosse experience. Also, Stevenson hosts Widener at 12 p.m. on Saturday.

The Maryland-Georgetown game is a hot one. I think I like Maryland in this one. I want to like Maryland a lot this year and even pick them far into the tournament, but they have to live up to some serious expectations consistently to sell me. I definitely like UNC over Navy, but that one is traditionally an overtime game. Too bad it's down in Chapel Hill or I'd recommend checking it out. Navy's D is super and its offense is as patient as ever. I can also see UNC stumbling here, but they are the better team on paper. Towson-Loyola will be tight and a great Baltimore rivalry. I will be at the Rutgers-UMBC game filming for E-Lacrosse. I think UMBC might be too strong for the Scarlet Knights this year but we'll see.

Love that you put games in Baltimore for the weekend. How about doing a comprehensive list of games in Baltimore for the week so that one can plan their schedule.

Thanks.
