MLL teams pick Looney, Dingman

Navy's Billy Looney and Ian Dingman were among the 50 players selected in the Major League Lacrosse college draft. Looney, a midfielder, became Navy's highest player selected in the history of the draft Thursday when the Chicago Machine picked him fifth overall. Looney scored 20 goals and had 14 assists for the Midshipmen this past season. The Philadelphia Barrage drafted Dingman, an attackman, with the 30th pick, the final selection in the third round. He had 33 goals and nine assists.
