Wrestling camp set at Marriotts Ridge

Marriotts Ridge High School will host the Maryland All-American Wrestling Camp and Clinic from July 25-27.

The camp, for wrestlers from 5th through 12th grades, will consist of two sessions per day (morning session from 9 a.m. to noon; afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.) and costs $150 or $155 if signed up after July 11.

Experienced 3rd and 4th grade wrestlers may attend at the discretion of the camp director.

University of Maryland coaches Todd Beckerman, Mike Catullo and Chris Vitale will be part of the coaching staff. The camp will concentrate on instruction and drilling for beginning and advanced wrestlers. It will cover techniques and drills from the feet, top and bottom positions, along with live wrestling.

For more information, contact Marriotts Ridge wrestling coach Jason Conley at jconley@hcpss.org or 443-745-0588.
