Update on Team Maryland baseball all-stars

Team Maryland, a group of high school all-star baseball players, fell to 2-3 at the Heartland Classic with a 5-3 loss to Texas on Thursday afternoon.

Maryland finishes its league games in the eight-team tournament in Norman, Okla., with two games Friday. The team faces Ohio at 4:30 p.m. and Georgia at 8 p.m.

The tournament's postseason begins Saturday.
