Youth boys basketball tournament offered in June

The David B. Wright Memorial Foundation is hosting the 1st Annual Royal Heirs Youth Boys Basketball Tournament set for Saturday June 4 and Sunday June 5 at the Carmelo Anthony Youth Development Center in Baltimore.

The age groups participating are 16-under, 13-under and 11-under with competition going from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on each day. Cost per team is $200 and includes two guaranteed games with a double-elimination format, T-shirts and awards limited to 12 players per team. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for youth and can be purchased at the door.

Proceeds go to the DBWMF, a non-profit educational, health and social service which promotes wellness and health through recreation and exercise in sports.
