Northeast grad Mullan shines at Shippensburg

Former Northeast softball standout Jill Mullan recently closed out her four-year career at Shippensburg (Pa.) University, helping the Raiders capture the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Division title.

The outfielder and team's leadoff batter hit .365 this season with 30 runs scored, 11 RBI and 18 steals as the Raiders finished with a 28-13 mark.

She played in every game during her four years, starting 175 of 180 games and leaving as the program's all-time leader in stolen bases with 51. Set to graduate next month with a degree in Human Communication, Mullan has a 3.3 grade point average. As a senior at Northeast, she earned first-team All-Metro honors.
