Havre de Grace freshman pitcher is 2-0

Havre de Grace freshman pitcher Kyle Greskoff posted his second win in as many attempts Tuesday, going eight innings for the 5-4 win against Aberdeen.

Greskoff gave up runs in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th innings, but only one run was earned and he shut down the Eagles in the next four frames.

In his first game last week he went the distance, throwing a two-hitter and striking out 6. In the process, he broke a 27-year-old school record by earning the win and completing the game as a freshman pitching varsity.

Greskoff is a hard-throwing right-hander with a complimenting slider and sinker. On the season, he has pitched 15 innings, in two complete games, walked two and struck out 10.
