Calvert Hall football visits Annapolis

The Calvert Hall football team got a taste of state politics on Tuesday, visiting the Maryland General Assembly at the State House in Annapolis.

The visit was sponsored by Senator James N. Mathias, Jr., a 1969 Calvert Hall grad.

The team was represented by coach Donald Davis, 20 seniors and other school administrators. The group viewed the legislative session, which included recognition for the team's season.

The No. 1 Cardinals (11-1) were the 2010 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference champions.
