No. 2 John Carroll, No. 4 St. Frances set for Thursday

John Carroll-St. Frances boys hoops now set for Thursday
The John Carroll at St. Frances boys basketball showdown -- which was postponed Tuesday due to the inclement weather -- has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Frances.

No. 2 John Carroll (24-1) is the front-runner in the Baltimore Catholic League (9-0) and Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Assocation A Conference (8-0), while the No. 4 Panthers are 7-1 in the BCL and 6-2 in the MIAA. In the teams' first meeting on Jan. 7, John Carroll came away with a 63-54 win over then-No. 1 St. Frances in Bel Air.
