Aquille Carr surpasses 1,000-point mark

Patterson sophomore guard Aquille Carr, a first-team All-Metro selection last year as a freshman, surpassed 1,000 points Thursday night with a 28-point performance in the No. 1 Clippers' 86-49 win over Carver. Carr is averaging 32 points, five assists and just under four steals per game in leading Patterson to a 16-1 mark.
