Iron Horse Duals at C.M.Wright begin Today (Friday)

The two-day Iron Horse Duals Wrestling Tournament hosted by C. MIlton Wright gets started today with three ranked teams among the nine schools going for the title, in this the 11th year of the tournament.

No. 7 Bel Air, No. 10 John Carroll, which finished third here last year, and No. 12 Loyola, which was second, will join Joppatowne, Towson, Gwynn Park, Nanuet, Parkville and host C.M. Wright when the event begins at 4 p.m. There will be four rounds on four mats, with the last match of the night scheduled for 8:30 p.m.

The tournament will continue Saturday with the first of five rounds scheduled for 9:30 a.m. The last round is at 4:30 p.m.

A year ago, Georgetown Prep took first place but has not returned, assuring a new champion
