Big day of Baltimore City boys hoops

If there was ever a time when a high school basketball fan in Baltimore City would like to be in more than one place at one time, it's 5:15 this afternoon.

That's the starting time for three promising city league games that should bring the best from every team playing.

At City College, the No. 2 Knights (4-1) will take on No. 4 Patterson (5-0) with two of the area's most high profile players in action as senior forward Nick Faust leads the home team against the Clippers' talented point guard Aquille Carr.

Elsewhere, a battle of unbeaten teams will get together at Lake Clifton where the No. 10 Lakers (3-0) take on defending Class 1A state champ and No. 8 Dunbar (4-0).

And if that's not enough, defending Baltimore City league champ and No. 7 Edmondson (4-0) will get a visit from a talented Digital Harbor team (No. 12 at 3-2) looking to get rolling.

Take your pick, get there early and enjoy the games!
