Spalding seeks a new boys lacrosse coach

Archbishop Spalding High School is accepting applications for the position of head boy's varsity lacrosse coach.

The new coach will replace Zack Burke, who recently stepped down after three seasons. Burke is moving to California with his family.

All interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume of experience to Archbishop Spalding athletic director Lee Dove at dovel@archbishopspalding.org, or via fax to 410-969-2795 or mailed to Archbishop Spalding High School, 8080 New Cut Road, Severn, Maryland 21144.

A minimum of high school coaching experience is required for consideration.

Burke led the Cavaliers to the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference playoffs in two of the three years he was coach. He earned All-Metro Coach of the Year honors in 2008 when he giuded the team to their first playoff appearance since the program joined the A Conference in 2003.
