Girls lax teams move to turf for a rainy day

Several girls lacrosse teams have moved their games to artificial turf fields today for a better chance to get their regional semifinals in despite the predicted rainy weather.

C. Milton Wright will play Catonsville at Harford Community College's turf field. The game has been moved to 7 p.m. rather than the original 6 p.m. start.

Winters Mill coach Courtney Vaughn has played several of her games at Garrison Forest, because of nasty weather through the season. Tonight the Falcons will play Liberty in a big Carroll County showdown at Garrison in Owings Mills at 5 p.m.
