Barton featured on MaxPreps

Former Lake Clifton basketball standout Will Barton, who is now attending Brewster Academy in Massachusetts before moving on to Memphis in the college ranks next year, was featured late last week on MaxPreps.com.

The high school sports Web site is counting down the Top 10 newcomers who will make the biggest impact in next year's NCAA men's basketball tournament, and Barton ranks seventh.

After leading the Lakers to a 28-0 season and earning All-Metro Player of the Year honors last year, the 6-foot-6 guard/forward moved on to Brewster Academy in New Hampshire and averaged 20 points this season.
