Vikings' Kuhl-McClelland named 'Coach of the Decade'

Mount Hebron's Brooke Kuhl-McClelland has been named the girls lacrosse Coach of the Decade by TopOfTheCircle.com, a Web site devoted to field hockey and women's lacrosse.

In eight seasons with the Vikings, Kuhl-McClelland amassed a 140-10 record and led her team to six state championships. The Baltimore Sun's 2006 All-Metro Coach of the Year won her first 98 games as a head coach.

She also guided the Vikings to 103 straight wins between May 2001 and April 2007, tying the record set by Loch Raven in 1982.
