The regional indoor track meets were rescheduled again today as the weather problems continue.

Wednesday's meets now also are postponed. The new tentative schedule will have the Class 1A Central Region meet set for Thursday at the Fifth Regiment Armory, including those schools from the East Region who had yet to compete. Then on Friday will be Class 1A and 2A West, both at Hagerstown Community College, at noon and 4 p.m., respectively. Class 4A West is then set for the Armory at 4 p.m.

Bigger changes will come on Monday. The Class 1A state meet is going to be at the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex at 11 a.m. But the MPSSAA also will run the Class 2A Central Region meet there at the same time – along with the East Region teams who need to compete there.

The Class 4A state meet is set for Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the same location, but one of the Class 3A Region meets will take place at the same time, although the MPSSAA hasn’t made a final decision on which one.

Final decisions still must be made on all three of the Class 3A Region meets plus the Class 2A and 3A state meets. Check mpssaa.org each day for more updates.
