Digital Harbor's Mitchell signs

Tiana Mitchell, the only senior on Digital Harbor's girls basketball team, has committed to play next season for Potomac State College in West Virginia.

Mitchell, a 5-foot-9 shooting guard, averaged 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals for the 24-3 Rams, who won their first state championship this winter, in Class 1A.

This is the problem with schools sharing a building. Although the sports teams are recognized as Digital Harbor, Tiana is a senior at the National Academy Foundation High School. She will graduate with a 3.2 average, and certification in her chosen academy, Hospitality.

It has been a great year for Baltimore City Schools. Mitchell is an excellent example of this. Potomac State College of WVU has been ranked in the top 25 over the last couple of years, she will represent Bmore well!
