Packers-Cowboys pick

Last week: 10-6

Overall: 87-81-9

Thursday night game: Packers at Cowboys

The pick: PACKERS (+7)

I'm not sure why Green Bay is considered such an underdog in this one. Sure, they're on the road, they're a little banged-up and they don't have a ton of experience. But they've been finding ways to win all season en route to a 10-1 record. Green Bay has scored 30 or more points in four straight games and has won its last four by an average of 17.5 points. The Packers' defense is allowing 16.8 points per game, third-best in the NFC. Green Bay is 5-0 on the road this season with wins at Kansas City, Denver, New York (Giants), Minnesota and Detroit. I'm aware that Brett Favre has never won in Dallas, and the Cowboys have a great passing attack and a play-making 'D.' But this just feels like a field-goal game to me, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Packers win outright.

Cowboys cover.
They had a few extra practices. Woodson is hurt. They are at home. They are the better team anyway.

A few extra practices? How? Both teams played on Thanksgiving.

OK. I forgot, and I was drunk by then and full of turkey, but I stand behind the rest of the reasons. Dallas is better to begin with in my opinion, and the loss of a shut down corner can cause all kinds of problems for a good defense.

Brett Favre will get pressured more by a good Cowboys pass rush and throw it up like he's so prone to doing, and the Cowboys "playmaking defense" will have a few picks. Cowboys cover and the over will probably hit.

Tease it down to a pick'um and over 45.

Can you actually believe you get paid to watch this joke??....fax me an application....on second thought, i actually love this team and you know as well as i do the guys have totally given up on the coach, that he has to go, just thought i'd let you know its hard right now, but, someday this team will be back...
