Joe Mauer is the latest fantasy stud to land on the disabled list -- bleeding in his quadriceps. Ouch. Sounds painful. Mauer hasn't shown much power (one homer through 28 games), but he is batting .353 with three stolen bases.

Who's the hottest hitter in the majors? How about Prince Fielder? The Brewers first baseman has 12 RBIs in his last seven games. Overall, he's batting .298 with nine homers, 26 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Fielder had 28 homers and 81 RBIs in his first full season in '06.

ESPN's Sunday night matchup pitted two young pitching phenoms against one another. 22-year-old Tim Lincecum started for the Giants and allowed four earned runs in 4 1/3 innings in his first career start after ripping up the minors. Meanwhile, Phillies left-hander Cole Hamels struck out nine in seven innings while allowing three earned runs for his fourth win of the season.

It looks like B.J. Upton has found a home, and the results have been spectacular. As Tampa Bay's everyday second baseman, the 22 year old is hitting .371 with five stolen bases, six homers and 22 RBIs.

Many would have expected Pat Burrell to be the most productive fantasy outfielder on the Phillies this season, but so far, he's taken a back seat to Shane Victorino and Aaron Rowand. Victorino is hitting .304 with 13 stolen bases and 18 runs scored. He recently had two steals in three straight games against the Giants. Meanwhile, Rowand is batting .363 with five homers, 16 RBIs and 18 runs scored.

Angels starter Bartolo Colon left Sunday's start with a biceps injury. He only started 10 games in '06, but has been solid so far this season, going 3-0 with a 3.46 ERA.

Cardinals pitcher Braden Looper has to be considered one of the year's biggest surprises. Starting for the first time in his career, Looper is 4-2 with a 2.66 ERA.
