Favorite NFL player: Michael Turner
Favorite NFL team: New York Giants
Favorite all-time Terp: Vernon Davis
Favorite music: "I listen mainly to metal, like Avenged Sevenfold."
Favorite book: No Excuses by Kyle Maynard. "He's a wrestler without his arms or legs. It's a very inspiring book. It motivates me to keep working."
Favorite movie: "Dumb and Dumber"
Favorite TV show: "The Office"
Favorite food: "Anything Italian. My mom makes awesome lasagna."
Favorite high school class: Science, specifically microbiology
Favorite thing about College Park: "I just like how there's so much to do. I spent a couple days up there just walking around. There's so many different things you can do."
Other high school sports: "I throw shot put and discus for the track team."
Hobbies: Playing guitar, video games and working out
Intended major: "Kinesiology or something [related to] the whole sports medicine, therapy field. Anything to do with that I'm interested in."
Something that not many people know about you: “I’m a quiet guy usually. But when you get to know me, I’m pretty loud and obnoxious. Most people don’t know that. It just takes a little while to bring that out.”
Best football moment: "Beating South Gwinnett this year. We were supposed to get crushed. We played in the second round of the playoffs. We won 49-34. That was a big one for us. I had about 125 yards that game, two touchdowns. So it was a good one."
Role model: "I've got a couple -- my parents because they push me hard. They've achieved success already, and that's kind of what I want to work to. That keeps me motivated. And also Warrick Dunn is motivating because he was such an awesome football player, and he was always trucking through people. But what he did off the field with all his community service and helping people was inspiring."
Why Maryland? "Well, a lot of reasons. Now one is Coach [Randy] Edsall and how he uses the fullback a lot. I have to earn it, but there's a chance I could start as a freshman. That's one of the things. Also, there's a good sports medicine program -- one of the top in the nation, I've been told. We have family in the area. We have some family about 30 minutes from campus, and even more family about an hour from campus. So it's good to know people in the area."
