Best football moment: "Getting to the upper-state championship my junior year."
Role model: “My older brother. He plays football, too, for Wofford College in South Carolina. I've had the same number as him in high school. I just remember going to all the games when he played and how much I wanted to play."
Why Maryland? "When I went there on my official visit, I knew right away when I left that I could see myself being there for five years. Everybody I met was really nice. They weren't just nice because I was a recruit -- that's just how they were personally."
