Weekend wrap – Stewart's squad moves on
Jimmy Stewart's Island Coast squad is just one win away from the Florida Class 2B championship game.
The Maryland-bound linebacker got the Gators on the board early in their 42-21 win over Orlando Lake Highland Prep.
[Evan Jager's] third pass of the game was into the waiting arms of Gator defensive end Jimmy Stewart.
The Maryland recruit corralled the ball and sprinted 15 yards into the end zone to put his team up, 13-0 only three minutes into the game.
• Terps offensive line pledge Andrew Zeller will play in the Pennsylvania District 3 Class AAAA championship game after his Red Lion team recorded a 14-0 win over Daniel Boone.

• UM fullback commitment Tyler Cierski's senior season came to an end Friday with Mill Creek's 27-14 loss to Colquitt County in the Georgia Class AAAAA quarterfinals.

• Maryland offensive line recruit Stephen Grommer picked up an honor this week from the local media in Spartanburg, S.C.
