Video: Roscoe Smith highlights

At this time last year, Roscoe Smith was putting together an All-Metro-caliber junior season at Walbrook.

Now as a senior, Smith has taken his game to Mouth of Wilson, Va., where he is currently starring for Oak Hill Academy's 18-1 varsity team.

In this video from last week's Les Schwab Invitation in Hillsboro, Ore., Smith discusses leaving Baltimore for Oak Hill, his recruiting picture and more. Thanks to OregonLive.com's Tim Brown for the link.

I thought he had moved on?

Ryan -- Maryland isn't one of the schools that Smith listed. I think both sides moved on months ago.

Matt Bracken was a lightly recruited football and tennis prospect out of East Lansing (Mich.) High School in 2001, but spurned all (nonexistent) scholarship offers to attend the University of Michigan. Matt graduated from UM in 2005, earned a master's degree in new media journalism from Northwestern University in 2006, and spent the first 11 months of his career as an online producer / videographer / blogger at the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson. He has worked at The Baltimore Sun since July 2007, where he currently serves as the deputy sports editor for digital.
