Something that not many people know about you: “I like to meet people and ... I like to lead, not follow.”
Best football moment: “It was when I scored six touchdowns in one game [last year].”
Role model: “I guess I’d have to say my great granddad, because every time I go talk to him he always has something positive to say. ... He never gets down. He’s blind and had a couple strokes, but every time I see him, he’s still smiling, and I love that about him.”
Why Maryland? “I’ve been following them ever since I was little -- their basketball team, really. But they just seemed like they were really interested and really wanted me to come. It’s a great school, academic-wise, and the coaches, they just seem like they are really interested in not just football, but my life and being successful.”
