Comments
Matt:
I certainly hope that the Rivals' and Scout's sites updates on the listed schools of interest for recruits lags behind its rankings. Nearly every one of the Terps' "targets" does not list Maryland as an interested school. While I'm not completely discouraged by that circumstance, it does give me some pause for concern as it suggests that the listed schools have been recruting these players longer than Maryland. Any insights?

Terp'nTexas -- Those sites don't update school lists all that frequently, so I wouldn't worry about interest levels listed there. Many of those guys are definite longshots, but UM's reportedly been involved with each to one degree or another. Johnson, Harris and Kirk, for example, haven't been Terps targets for too long.

Matt,
Any idea for when we might start hearing on school selections from these recruits?
I was reading that Parker still has us number 1 on his list and this was the second time he was asked in two weeks. Why can't we just land this guy? Who is the closer down at CP? Does Juan Dixon still have any ties with the school and Gary? I would imagine many of these local kids grew up watching and rooting for him. It would be nice to see him help out like Anthony does for Cuse. Especially with Smith and Parker. I realize Parker is from VA, but close enough. Not sure if this is a recruiting violation though...
I would have to think Harris is probably out of the running since his recent top 5 does not include us.
I agree with TNT that it is sloppy on Rivals part that they don't update the recruiting information when most people look at it for that purpose alone.
