• Former Kansas State quarterback commitment Chris Harper made a verbal commitment to Oregon last night. There was some speculation as to whether Harper might follow new Terps offensive coordinator James Franklin from Manhattan, Kan. to College Park, but that’s obviously not going to be the case.

"I thought it was the biggest opportunity for me as a freshman," said Harper, the No. 2 prospect in Kansas according to Rivals.com. "My mom and dad wanted me to go to Oregon from the start."
