Role model: “My mom because she helped me in everything -- provided me with everything. She’s never missed any of my games. She came with me everywhere I went this summer and she will continue to be at all my games. She’s very supportive.”
Why Maryland? “One, because of the environment and how I was treated and another thing, I knew they had my major and I looked at the psychology facilities and they were pretty nice. Also, the history of linebackers that have been there in the last five or six years.”

Comments
He actually has the nickname "meat" which comes from Demitrius. My son attends his HS and I had the chance to watch him. He has a motor, going from sideline to sideline. He was out with a knee injury for 2-3 games and still put up great number. He needs to gain some weight, which won't be an issue, but I think he will be a great Terp.
