Something that not many people know about you: “I’m laid back; kind of shy at first, when you first meet me.”
Best football moment: “I think my favorite memory is just experiencing all the camps I went to over the summer -- the experience of meeting all the other players. To be specific, probably the Nike camp in Georgia [was my best football memory].”
Role model: “My mom because she helped me in everything -- provided me with everything. She’s never missed any of my games. She came with me everywhere I went this summer and she will continue to be at all my games. She’s very supportive.”
Why Maryland? “One, because of the environment and how I was treated and another thing, I knew they had my major and I looked at the psychology facilities and they were pretty nice. Also, the history of linebackers that have been there in the last five or six years.”

He actually has the nickname "meat" which comes from Demitrius. My son attends his HS and I had the chance to watch him. He has a motor, going from sideline to sideline. He was out with a knee injury for 2-3 games and still put up great number. He needs to gain some weight, which won't be an issue, but I think he will be a great Terp.
