TurtleSportsReport.com editor (and occasional Recruiting Report contributor) Jeff Ermann is launching a monthly magazine covering Maryland athletics.

Just a quick note . . . I think you are doing a teriffic job, and I'd like to read more of your work. Any chance you can move into the Terps football & basketball blog when Heather moves on after this week end?

Thanks for the info on the new magazine. If Jeff can do as good of a job on the magazine as he does on the website it should be a worthwhile investment.

Walt - You are too kind. I won't be taking over for Heather, though. I've got all I can handle with producing (behind the scenes, web stuff for baltimoresun.com) and the recruiting blog. Rest assured The Sun editors will find someone excellent.

About Matt Bracken

Matt Bracken was a lightly recruited football and tennis prospect out of East Lansing (Mich.) High School in 2001, but spurned all (nonexistent) scholarship offers to attend the University of Michigan. Matt graduated from UM in 2005, earned a master's degree in new media journalism from Northwestern University in 2006, and spent the first 11 months of his career as an online producer / videographer / blogger at the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson. He has worked at The Baltimore Sun since July 2007, where he currently serves as the deputy sports editor for digital.
