Men's lax recruiting rankings

If you’re a men’s lacrosse junkie, you’ll probably want to read this.

Inside Lacrosse magazine just released its Power 100 NCAA Freshmen list as part of its annual recruiting issue.

The state of Maryland is extremely well represented on the Power 100 list, as are many of the local schools.

By my count, 10 members of the Power 100 are at Maryland, five at Johns Hopkins, three at Navy, three at Loyola and one at Towson.

Here’s a list of local kids that made the list:

10. Travis Reed, Attack, Boys' Latin, MD - Maryland
19. Tim Donovan, Midfield, Loyola-Blakefield, MD - Johns Hopkins
21. Chris Clements, Midfield, St. Paul's, MD - Virginia
34. Andrew Feinberg, Attack, McDonogh, MD - Brown
36. Nick Elsmo, Midfield, Severn, MD - Virginia
38. Alex Lyons, Defense, Boys' Latin, MD - Bucknell
46. Brett Weiss, Attack, Boys' Latin, MD - Maryland
51. Chris Hunt, Midfield, Severna Park, MD - UNC
55. Peter Fallon, Defense, Gilman, MD - Brown
69. Eric Lusby, Attack, Severna Park, MD - Loyola
76. Matt Chriss, Goalie, Gilman, MD - Brown
82. Tyler Boykin, Defense, St. Paul's, MD - Delaware
87. Jake Hagelin, Goalie, Boys' Latin, MD - Loyola
91. Andrew Walls, Defense, Glenelg, MD - Georgetown
95. Rhett De Pol, Midfield, St. Mary's, MD – Navy
